The
church courtyard includes the V. Veneto square, the house of the priest,
the oratory and the bell tower. The bell tower was built only in the second
part of the late ‘800 century, because the Mayor of Sicci, decided
to built a public clock.
In
1597 the church was in a critic condition, so between the ‘500 and ‘600
century the church had been repaired, and was re-built with a new parish
structure, that presents one nave, some side-chapels, and a wooden roof.
The original late- gothic façade were re-built in 1782 in a sober
and linear style. Only the rose window, the rosettes, the capitals and the
cross were untouched
