ART AND CULTURE

The territory of Dolianova was a generous place with fertile pastures, water saurces, that is why many cultures settled in this area of Sardegna.
We know this for a fact, as we have documentation that goes back to 3400 B.C.

Amoung many archeologics findings, there are nuraghi, nuragic villages, giant tombs “ tombe dei giganti” and sacred sources: the megalithic tomb of “Sa Crescia Magrada” and the huge nuraghe called “ Domu ‘e s’orcu”.

The monuments all around the countryside, gives us information
on historic testimony, dreams and impressions from the primitive
doliensi population. One example of this artistic work of art
is the Cathedral of San Pantaleo.
